The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in California aged 55.

His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The influential game designer died after his car crashed and burst into flames on a highway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, according to.
