Loyal followers of the pop star are calling for that a individual who breached a fence and touched the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared video reveals the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing camera operators and lunging at Grande while the cast made its way down a event pathway surrounded by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly wrested the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being taken in", though official papers revealed that he was scheduled to attend court on the following morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram profile contains clips of him disturbing other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney show in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," commented an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over Grande's Safety

Numerous fans criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" commented one more message on Instagram.

Several attendees also faulted security officers at the premiere for not being sufficiently alert; while some requested online networks to ban Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande seemed startled when she was approached by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.
